ah i see we have the same preference i was going to choose the 290x because i am amd fan but when i read that the gtx 970 is cheaper and better i said why not change it up a bit and if i dont like it ill send it back and get the 290x msi lighting version

There it is again! D: There are price drops so that maybe a reason but paying a little more for a more quiet/cooler card is worth it.

I somewhat agree

Although personally I don't really mind noise, I just turn up the speakers or use headphones. As for heat, just use better case flow, although it's always freezing here in the UK so a heater is appreciated in the form of a GPU.

lol i have a smaller rig that has a hd 6770 core edition i use as a foot warmer lol im doing a bit up grade from my old rig

Oh gosh! 

Talk about it! I was using a GT 220 and Pentium D until July last year, it could run BF3 at 720p on low (had to use an ultra low graphics mod) and still only got 35fps!

whats really funny is that before i had upgraded to the hd 6770 core edition i just had a small hd 4650 lmao

That is practically the same as my new computer ^-^. I've heard bad things about the SSD Now from Kingston so I went with a Crucial MX100 (instead of the SSDNow)

 

Other than that, Looks Good

(Good enough for me to buy & build myself)

i would say do not get the ssd now v300 because mine is barely faster than my mechanical hard drives in raid 0
