The Dream

Any thoughts?

I was trying to find a silent windowed case for the build, since the components all match.

Thanks so much! :D

Go for a 4690k and an NZXT S340 (or pretty much anything that isn't the Silencio 652....god did cooler master manage to royally f**k up that case).

I'd also get an EVGA G2 750w psu instead

Two 1x4GB memory kits is not the equivalent of one 2x4GB kit. Get A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory which actually cost less and is guaranteed to work in dual channel at the advertised speed and timings.

Quiet cases: Fractal Design Define R5 w/Window (White) - also available in titanium and black, Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case - also available in black - check out the Luxe and Primo versions if budget allows.

EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR is a much better psu and currently available with an MIR for just a few dollars more.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I will further update the dream when I get on my laptop. Thanks!

You can ACTUALLY stick with a 650W psu. Even SLI 970 won't consume that much power. In fact, you'd need XF to do it (or a dual gpu).

Hint: don't get the g1 gaming. Save 30$, and get an Asus Strix. It'll also be even quieter!

What's this -- A 1866 2x4gb kit? For 62$???? Yaaaaay. Or, you could go with Ripjaws, if you don't like yellow, at the expense of speed (that actually doesn't matter AT ALL).

As pointed, get a better case.
