What is going on?

Lately, I've noticed something very odd going on with some of the Linus Tech Tips videos. Linus keeps saying in his videos "You can help supporting by (insert things you can do) If you want us to keep making videos." Now the key line here is "If you want us to keep making videos. Why does he keep saying that? Are they struggling as a media group? Is something going wrong? Then today NCIX did a live stream and Keys said that "NCIX Anthony left". Is there something going on there too? Is NCIX going out of business? What's happening to these two businesses?

LTT asks for contributions to forward the LMG business of providing better

content in a reasonable amount of time. with that more staffing, equipment and

workspace is mandatory. so to get top-quality staff, the biggest hurdle is money.

not many will work for free, long.

 

not all products come free-gratis and some have to be purchased to provide the

basis of the review/impressions.

 

there has been some debate on whether LMG's direction of content has come

under fire on what/why something should be brought to the masses. otherwise,

products being reviewed will just be the standard production items and not the

farout items that most other review sites don't report on.

 

as to the NCIX, i don't think you'll find much public information on the financials

of their business, but people do move on to other vocations and directions. kinda

like Linus himself made the move to entrepreneur and media creator.

prolly, just making it by, with new subscribers/supporters every day, the message

has to be put out there and it is important that transparency be put forth on this

"asking" as most don't really know what is done with the donations and putting it

out there on what is done with it can relieve some to know it isn't being spent on

gambling debts, liquor, or bunny slippers.

if they are getting the interaction with subs and subsequently sales, then it'd be

a good platform to keep. but if the value of the production isn't being recognized

or being translated into some "worth" of production, then they'd seriously have

to look into what they have to do to make it a valuable service to continue or

find that discontinue/replace might be what is needed.

The only thing I look forward to everyday on YouTube before I go to bed is a LTT video and a Netlinked Daily video, most of those videos inspire me to buy random shit.
