Help with OS bootable USB

I just bought Windows 8.1 Pro from the Microsoft store on my laptop. I need to put this on a 32gb USB drive so when I build my new PC in a week, I can install the OS. How would I do this? Thanks for any help.

Download Rufus.

Mount the WIndows ISO image onto the flash drive using that program. (It's really easy, and shouldn't need explained.)

 

Go into your BIOS on your new PC, and then Boot into the USB device. You can use your boot menu if you know what hotkey it is, but otherwise just go into your BIOS. It will start the Windows installer. Install it onto your OS drive, and then you're done!

Do you know why It would say I don't have a USB drive, when I have one plugged in and my computer recognizes it?

I dont know why there is a need for all these usb creators, you can literally just extract the iso and copy the contents the the root of a USB.
