Cloning HFS+ Drive

Hello there!
I'd like to clone an old HDD to an SSD, but the filesystem is HFS+. It's the old HDD of my mother Mac but I only have a Windows machine and it's our only OS X machine so I can't OS X to clone the drive.
Can you people give me a solution, because as far I know Windows cannot do HFS+.

Aside from that do you people know about any oddities of OS X drives? Does it have a bootmgr partition like windows has? Or do I just have to clone one partition?
