I've never been an rts games but I've found a new passion! Non-Real-Time Strategy Games! Games where you have all the time in the world to strategize before simulating! 

I first found DoorKickers which is currently free to try in alpha here!

Dissapointed that this wasn't a full game I went searching and found Frozen Synapse, although it doesn't have the appeal Doorkickers has, It's an impressive game! I managed to get it dirt cheap in a bundle here!

So, has anyone played these games before? What do you think!!!

try advance wars, its on gba and nds but you can get emulators and its one hell of a game. The whole series is awesome.
