so I've been considering building a pc instead getting a one on cyber power to save some money. problem is i was getting some really good water cooling on it (astek 590lx 360mm radiator) that apparently is not available on retail. so my question is what water cooling should i get? im looking at pre-filled ones here since i don't want to have to do the maintenance needed with a custom loop. what fans should i get with the water cooling? what case fans?

Like Mr. C0LL0SS0S siad, it depends on hat kind of system you're building. I personally think that a good "standard AIO ill do you nicely, even for a fair aggressive OC.

Something like the kraken x61, for example.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

That depend on the hardware and the case.

My i7-5930k in my Corsair 730T is almost thermal throttling with stock speeds, even with a 280mm rad cooling it.

So when it comes to cooling, look at the case first, then the cooling options you can fit into it.

Damn, ok :P i didn't think that that could be the case, I thought bigger rads were mostly for heavy loads with big OCs.

Thbaks :)

I made the wrong choice when it came to cooling options. I didnt factor into the heat from the GPU's, nor the air flow in the case.

But that will be fixed, as soon as my new case arrives.

Your gpus are also under water, or is it the air heat they are exhausting that is heating your rad as it passes through?

Damn man, sounds like nice build alright :P

My GPUs are air cooled atm, but they will be water cooled with my new build.

And yeah, I ment the heat from the GPU's are warming the air that passes though my CPU Rad.

ok so my system is an i7-4790k CPU, whatever gtx 980 GPU (probably 980ti by the time i get it) has the highest clock speed out of the box, 16gb corsair vengence ram RAM, 2x1tb HDD's 1xadata sp610 256gb SSD all in an enthoo primo case. i was planning to get the 590lx water cooling with 6x enermax uctb14 pressure fans and get corsair af120 case fans to replace the normal ones. what i'm asking is for the best pre-filled water cooling possible for my case (i believe 480mm radiator compatible) so that if i want to OC in the future i can.

You can fit 2x 480mm rad in it, so I guess the answer is the biggest you can find.

yeah what im asking is what water cooling for CPU do you guys recommend? which is the largest pre-filled? i should have specified that im looking at pre-filled CPU coolers. not sure why i didn't.

the water 3.0 ultimate looks really nice. i can install 6 fans on this in push pull can't i? it has 3 on the one side in the demonstration so i assume you can mount fans on the other side aswell. also which case fans would you recommend? EDIT I have looked around and right now I am partial to use 5x proximate pro-bv14 fans to fill the empty fan spots I also found out that the water 3.0 supports 6x 120mm fans (3 included) I was planning getting the other 3 and putting them in push pull I was thinking of getting corsair sp120s (I believe they are static pressure)
