Razer Mamba

Go to solution Solved by ViperGTX88,

UPDATE: looks like i will be keeping my RAT 7. I uninstalled the driver/software and also any leftovers that it left like the registry, settings, ect. Then I did a fresh DL of the latest driver/software and re-installed them. After that some how the mouse is starting to initialize faster now on start-up. I tried it on another PC before  i did the re-install and it had the problem, maybe i had a 32 bit driver/software installed that's why it took so long.Well thx anyways for all the feedback on the Mamba. I guess ill live with the 10 second initializing time that i still have.

I am going to be switching over from a RAT 7 to a Razer Mamba because, the RAT 7 has recently started to have initializing issues at every start-up. I have to wait a good 30 seconds now for me to start using the pointer because, of the RAT not initializing right away like it use too. I am getting the same problem on another PC. I have done some reading on the Razer mamba and i don't see really any bad comments/reviews on it. What do you users on the forum think about it? Is it a good replacement mouse to continue playing my FPS games?

Is the Mamba picky on using a soft or hard mat? I know that some mouse don't work very well on a soft mat.

I use my mamba  on a soft map all the time.

One thing to note... my wireless adapter for the mamba broke after 1 year... but buying a replacement on ebay is 10 dollars and you get an extra cord and battery too!

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018

I used it on an aluminum mouse pad, but my hand where it rested made condensation (metal cold hand warm) so it was kinda dumb. But now I use a soft pad (steelseries qck) and it works fine

I only got mine in march and I love it. I don't want to sound like a razor fanboy but I'm using it with the vespula mousepad (about 35$ but it's two-sided and had a gel-wrist-rest). It costs quite a lot but so far it exceeded my expectations. But if you don't use wireless and use the buttons so much you could think about the deathadder seeing that it costs only about half as much. Also, I recommend going to some store and grab the mouse before buying.
