So I spilled Apple juice on my keyboard, and now it is pretty much broken. The LEDs work fine and but 85% of the keys either don't work or continuously actuate when I press them.

My idea to fix it was take off the key caps and wash the keyboard really well in water. Then after a long time plug it back in. That being like a week if that is enough. So my question is, is that a good idea or is there something better or easier to consider.

You could try and wash it but there's still a chance that it's gone. Depending on what keyboard it is it might be easier to wash it or just buy a new one.

I spilt water on my quickfire tk a few days ago and i took all the keycaps off sat it on my window ledge over night with the window open the following day I was still having problems with the ctrl key being recognised as pressed, think there was some water in the switch but it just went away after a few hours of use no issues now

your keyboard might be filled with rice but you could just fill a fishtank with rice and put your keyboard in it :P
