ok i found the file eventualy though some website.

 

it can be downloaded here: http://firmware.netgear-forum.com//index.php?dlfile=130

 

And i backed it up just incase here: http://ktfo.co.uk/Downloads/stuff/Netgear/GS724T_V1_Firmware/

 

hopefully this will help someone at somepoint.

Has anyone got a copy of the Netgear SmartWizard version 2.05.03 ?

 

I need to upgrade a gs724T V1  and require this to go forward with the firmware upgrade.

 

Google is failing me at the moment.  its not on the netgear site  suprise suprise...
