http://www.overclockers.co.uk have announced the world's first 2000W consumer PSU. It's created by Superflower who I think have some of the best looking power supplies and made in collaboration with Ian '8Pack' Parry, the record holding overclocker. It's fully modular and has a platinum rating which I guess you would expect for £350. Obviously not designed for many people especially with Nvidia increasing the power efficiency of their graphics cards each generation.

Buyers will also receive the following modular cables:

• 1 x 20+4-Pin ATX12V/EPS12V
• 1 x 8-Pin EPS12V
• 1 x 4+4-Pin ATX12V/EPS12V
• 9 x 6+2-Pin-PCIe
• 5 x 6-pin PCIe
• 18 x SATA
• 5 x 4-Pin-Molex
• 2 x Floppy

Ouch, that's a lot of wattage. SuperFlower is the OEM of the EVGA G2 series if I'm not mistaken, I imagine this is one heck of a quality PSU.
