780 ti sli help

 i have the asus 780 ti directcu II oc 3gb i was looking at getting another one but there are still £500 i was wondering if you could use a differnt make of card

Yes, you can use different RAM capacities and card manufacturers - as long as they're the same card fundementally and both support SLI. However, SLI will only run at the RAM capacity of the lowest card.

Also, if you are wanting to upgrade, you may have to consider getting a new power supply.

Not anymore. They have to be the same chip and same VRAM. Still can be different board partners though.

Yeah, they changed it a little while ago. 

 

All 780Tis should work together though.

That will be fine. Any 780Ti will work with yours.
