Really everywhere I've looked says 750-850

O-o and what about the back fan?

Back should probably be exhaust - is the standard config for that.

Most places seem to reccomend overkill PSUs :) As long as its not a crappy cheap one, a solid 500 will do you fine.

is the raidmax cobra Rx-600ae 80plus gold ok if I don't overclock? And also I was wondering some people say when changing mobo the os needs to be reinstalled? If I wanted to start on a non z97 mobo due to cost and no reason to oc for a while would using a b or h mobo be ok? And would I be able to replace without reinstalling os? An last but not least could you have a look on nz pc partpicker and tell me a goodies budget mobo that would last a couple of months no issues ? Cheers man you are awesome ;) don't need to do all if you don't want to or don't have the time

You need at least 600W, a little more would be good. Antec HCG-620M, Antec HCG-750M, or SeaSonic SSR-650RM would be reasonable choices. Raidmax psu do not have a great reputation.

Unless the system will be housed in a hot environment, the four stock fans are more than enough to provide good air flow for the described build.

If you replace the motherboard you will probably have to re-install Windows. The process to avoid doing this is far from simple and prone to error.

Decent inexpensive (as these things go) motherboards include Asus Z97-K/CSM, ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H. All allow for overclocking and have a good feature set.

If the system will be used mostly for gaming, an i5-4690K would do a good job.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

evga 780ti classified or r9 290x reference

970? Like make it more of a question. I don't really get it but I would go 970 and if the 780ti is so cheap or something I would get that above the 290x because I like cool and quiet more then a possible 5% performance more so that is your choice to make. Benchmarks look for them and see what you want.
