Need help with iTunes

Go to solution Solved by Pomfinator,

iTunes has never supported the Matroska container.  The best option is to download a seperate app. nPlayer is my recommendation, a lot of the other ones are shady or have ads all over them.  I would suggest VLC, but that's in limbo ATM b/c iOS8 fked everything up.  These apps will allow you to add files in the App section of the device area when you plug in you stuff.

Ok, I need to put some TV shows on my ipod touch. How the hell do I that, iTunes is so stupid and complicated. My files are in .mkv, I suppose they need to be in .mov or .mp4 to?

Are the files aready in iTunes?

No, movie section is empty.

Did you check the TV show section? If nothing is there, drag the files from your computer to the area of Itunes that you want them to be in. iTunes will add them and you'll be able to sync them to your iPod.

Just drag the videos into the "movies" or "TV Shows" area of iTunes. Drag them into the area where you'd see videos if they were there.
