Hi All,

I'am having trouble with my Gskill Ripjaws 1866Mhz; whenever I set the ram to 1866mhz on my bios, my system goes unstable having random BSODs, as far as I know everything is good at 1600 and 1333 freq. any thoughts this?

BTW, I also tried the XMP that comes with the RAM, but is no good - my PC is AMD Based( FX-8320 )

Have you overclocked the CPU? Sometimes it can effect what RAM speeds are stable.

If it's fine at 1600MHz, you might as well just leave it at that. There's no performance difference between 1600 and 1866.

yeah there really isnt that much of a ram speed difference as long as the clock speed is 1600 mhz its fine

My Cheap But Good Rig: I7-3770s, Intel Motherboard (actually made by intel), 16gb DDR3, Nvidia Gtx 1070, 250gb Samsung 850 EVO SSD, 750gb HDD, Evga 500 BR power supply
