Hello, this is my first post on this forum. Thank you ladies and gents for viewing this post and providing your feedback if you do xP.

  • I'm from America and my budget is around 1,000 USD for the components.. Maybe around 1,300-1,400 for peripherals.. Maybe less.
  • I want to play games like WoW and Rust. I will be downloading Steam and playing games that way.
  • This is my first PC build as mentioned before.. So, I've never overclocked anything. Do you think I should get the unlocked CPU instead of a locked one?
  • I'm going for a sleek black look for components.. I like the case that I have selected, so please no changing that.
  • I also have a gaming monitor already, listed here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014377Do you think I would get more than 60 FPS with games with this build?
  • The memory I have on PCPartPickers is different than the one I want to buy, I couldn't bother finding the exact one.
  • I already have a mouse and keyboard picked out but I didn't want to list that on PCPartPicker.

So onto the build.

This looks pretty solid for me, only that I'm not entirely sure if that GPU is going to "enjoy" only 500W... Again, I'm not sure if it won't or not but you want to make sure it's good enough, plus you could just get a 2TB for only a few percent more which is DEFINATELY worth it if you ask me.. Plus you might want to use the stock fan if one comes with, then save up or something for a good aircooler or watercooler :P

Do you think I should increase the PSU to 600W? How do you think this build will hold up?

I'd help you if I could about how high wattage PSU you should have but.. I have a R9 280 and a 750W PSU just to make sure that my GPU gets enough power (plus the CPU and drives and stuff) and that I can maybe upgrade aswell later on without having to get a new PSU. And that build should hold up for a while, yeah.
