Need help using Turbo Boost

Ive seen everywhere for my cpu using turbo boost its standard 2.1 and can go up to 2.5 but on the intel website it says it doesnt have it wtf ? even on the website it shows burst mode or whatever its called from 2.1 to 2.5 !? then it says it doesnt support it so how in the world do i get this turbo boost thing i need some help computer is so slow i am absolutely hating the speed ):

If your computer is slow in term of general use then it's mostly your HDD not your CPU.

How so? What exactly is slow? Why do you need that .4ghz boost so badly?

shouldve probably responded in a less of a tone and its a brand new note book i just want that speed up cause it also increases the gfx speed also its similar to oc everything loads up fine i'll be upgradiing to 8gb of ram also but i want to make sure i have this turbo boost at least for now so it makes my machine barable

you are prolly only going to boost to 2.5ghz with a single threaded application

 

run superpi or cinebench single core test to see if it boosts to 2.5ghz.

 

any multithreaded test will prolly just boost to 2.1ghz

Notebook you say. Have you set the power settings to High Performance? Anything less and it is downclocking your CPU on purporse to save battery.

Whats the maximum processor state currently set for your power settings? If you don't know what that means just hop on over to Google and you'll find it quick
