A dude is selling his 290x Lightning for 350€ , should i go for it? Before a " Get a 970" war erupts , i don't intend on getting a 970 because i dislike Nvidia's practice and handling on the VRAM matter.

Isn't that basically the price of a new 290x?

Basically a new Lightning 290x goes for 420-450€ in Europe

Thats the card i recommend most of the times.

Its better than the 970 as has more bang for the buck.

Try to haggle with him a little bit more thought.

How's the condition of the card, and maybe try and get it for cheaper because he is aiming for a lot.

Also try looking at the Sapphire 290x Tri-x, because that's a good one and it's €350 new here.

Your 670 is more than enough for now.

Wait for the new cards.
