that is my build as of right now, i had to buy a cheaper cpu when my orginal cpu which is an AMD x4 860k was not compatible with my mobo. i just updated my mobo bios so my 860k should work.

right now im waiting to get some thermal compound to replace my cpu, my question is will that 860k bottleneck a 7950 boost?

at stock speeds of the 860K there will be a slight bottleneck

but OC to 4.5GHz and your HD7950 will chung along just fine

many builds with the 860K could support up to a 280X
