Random restarts

Go to solution Solved by Carpenter92,

If it was a PSU problem then it would shut down, GPU problems usually cause driver crashes, or visual artifacts on screen. Memory or cpu both can be, although they should have a bluescreen, memory problems especially. I would try running Linx, and check if it runs into any errors. (With as much ram as possible) If your CPU is overclocked check it without overclock, or if you have energy savings enabled (Like EIST, Speedstep etc) disable them, and use a static voltage on the cores (Not offset, or auto).

hello

i get random restarts, for no reason really, sometimes when just web browsing and things like that. it is not happening very often, kind of rare but still. is this caused by my gpu maybe? or psu? because my psu is in oc mode 24/7, because my gpu needs the Voltage rails combined, but according to be quiet! thats just totally fine. or is ram the faulty part?

the restart is not caused by a blue or black screen it just restarts my pc, does not shut it off.

again this restarts happen very rare, same like freezes also very rare. but what could be the problem, any idea?

ty

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.
