Hey all,

I'v been having an issue with my RAM that I can't figure out. I have some Ballistix Tracer RAM(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148517) that I just recently bought a week ago. I purchased 2 kits totaling 4 sticks, and they all worked for about a week and a half, and then all the sudden I noticed 2 sticks(The ones in their corresponding slots so they are duel channel) not working. I have tried each slot and they all work individually, and each of the slots work in duel channel, but no matter what I do, I can't get all 4 slots to work together. I have also tried different ram, 4 DIMMs that I know work, but these didn't work either. I tried re seating the CPU(i5 3570K) and adjusting voltages. My motherboard is a ASUS Sabertooth Z77. I don't have any other motherboards, or CPUs, and I have the "maximum memory" box in the run command MSCONFIG unchecked, but that didn't help either. I tried resetting the CMOS as well. The timings are all correct, and I tried adjusting them as well. At this point, I don't think there is anything else I can do without another motherboard or processor to check and see what exactly is wrong, but I was hoping maybe somebody had some more tricks. Sorry for the wall of text :D

3rd or/and 4th DIMM slots are likely dead.

The thing is they all work individually, and they all work when they are being used in duel channel with just 2 sticks in each, so I find that unlikely.

I agree with @Godlygamer23 or one or more of the DIMM slots are damaged in some way and are conflicting with the other slots

Hiya fellas. I'm supposed to have 2x8GB of kingston predator DDR3 @ 1866 mhz, but CPU-Z says my RAM speed is @ 938.8Mhz (1:7) @ 9-10-9-27.. am I "freaking out" over nothing or is there a problem? also CPU-Z says my 3770K frequency is @ 1608.35Mhz..http://valid.canardpc.com/2846121 I'm puzzled.. I'm a noob at this stuff, just did my very first build in December and I know pretty much nothing about this stuff.. all i know is which parts are supposed to be good ,but haven't looked into these things too much. If someone would tell me what's going on here, I'd learn something new yet again. Thanks!
