CPU, Mobo combo

So, my little brother is finally buying a new CPU and Mobo. His budget is around 300 euro.

He says he is only going to game but I will bet my own pc on the fact that he will start youtube again. So there will be lite editing.

A blue color scheme would be nice but not needed.

We're concentrating on the light here jeez...

 

:(

 

Some games use HT , and a cpu with HT is more future proof.

 

IT will last much longer than an i5.

 

I mean look at the first gen i7  cpus still kicking ass!

 

I would never buy a 4690k over that xeon.

 

For 300 bucks what i proposed is the best option.
