windows does not detect my gpu

hello,

I did a clean instal of windows 7 on my pc there where no problems with that. but after i installed my gpu drivers windows was stil not able to see my gtx 970 i have no clue what to do please help?

Did you plug in your display plugs into the graphics card and is the graphics card powered on with 2 6 pin connectors?

before i did the clean instal my gpu worked fine and did not touch any of those things

1. Is the display cable connected to the output of the gpu.

2. Are the power cables plugged in?

3. Is the card properly seated in the PCI-e slot?

4. Any fans spinning?

 

A. You could provide us with pics and we can take a look and help.

B. Open device manager, do you see any device (except for the integrated graphics) under the "Video adapters" tab?

i dont know how but the problem has seem to have fixed itself thanks to everybody that has helped
