Random Game Freezes HELP!

So recently I've been playing borderlands 2 again and then all of a sudden out of nowhere BAM freeze and the last second of audio begins to loop in a really annoying buzzing sound and my whole PC freezes, couldn't ctrl alt delete, alt F4 etc, so i push my reset button and get back into the game a little annoyed. And this just kept happening usually after 40 mins to 1 hour of play and it happens completely randomly like some days it just wasn't even a problem. And i looked it up and apparently allot of people on the gearbox forums were having this and it was an issue with the game so i just kinda ignored it. Now I started playing far cry 3 blood dragon and everything is going good until about 10 mins ago when the game froze just like in borderlands. This time though i could control alt delete and windows would give me the "far cry 3 blood dragon has stopped working" error and then close the game. Anyone know what causes this and what a fix for this is? My system specs are in my signature if you need them. Thanks

I see your CPU is overclocked. Do you have Prime95? Also, what is your voltage at?

I've already ran p95 for 4 hours and done 100x intel burn test i'm pretty confident my system is stable but i'll try it out at stock and see if that works.

Also, I asked what your voltage is.

I passed 15 mins of blend and my voltage in CPUZ shows 1.104V although my set voltage in the UEFI is 1.12V (V droop offset is 100% so there's nothing i can do about it)

Also i should point out that during borderlands 2 i was using the infamous 320.XX drivers and during blood dragon i updated to the latest BETA drivers so is it possible that this may be a driver issue?

Maybe. Borderlands 2(BL2) is the only game that's been crashing for me so far. But the variables are high because my GPU is overclocked to 1.2GHz, and CPU is at 4.4GHz.

Alright, i think i'm gonna wait for a finalized driver form Nvidia and if this problem persists i'll reset to defaults and if it still persists theeeeeeeeeeeeeen i dunno cause i doubt it's my gpu.
