GTX970 <50% usage. Low Preformance

Like is says in the title my Gigabyte 970 is not being used to its potential. In BF4 on NVIDIA's settings i am getting around 45 FPS with 39-40ish % usage. I have tried this card OCed and stock with the same results. I have an i5 3570k stock and 16GB of crucial ballistic sport ram Win7.

Have you tried other games?

Did you have an AMD card before you got the 970?

No i had a 680 before

Still download the installer for the newest drivers and then get this:

Don't start in safe mode - Select Nvidia drivers - Clean and restart - Install latest drivers

 

Check if that fixes (Often it does)

Had the same issue as you.

Manually configure the RAM speed in your BIOS.

If your RAM top speed is 1600Mhz, configure it in the BIOS

Give it a shot, is the only thing that fixed it for me. I even upgraded to Win 8.1 and resintalled drivers several times.
