@Sklo

Check out the latest news re. the memory issues discovered with the 970 (you might want to go Radeon) but otherwise, pretty nice (although personally I might save some cash on the memory but that's me).

Edit: @Sklo Also, look into the memory controller on the board and see if you can split the sticks without causing memory controller issues. As far as I know it's still better to have two sticks rather than one (and that should theoretically give you better performance). Four sticks can cause memory controller strain but I believe that's being eliminated these days, so depending on the board you might be better off splitting the sticks (If you're only building it for gaming you'll probably never max out 8Gig before the entire system needs replacing anyway (you only really need massive amounts of RAM for video processing etc. games are much less demanding))

@Sklo There is little point buying an h100i if you are not going to buy an overclock able cpu e.g. i5 4690K

thanks

I would get a 1tb HDD to go along with that, 256 gb don't last very long...Otherwise nice build :)

would liek to have at least 2tb, what would yous rec?

If you're going for a non-k processor, get an H97 board instead.  It will save you money.  Also, I'd go with 2x4GB instead of 1x8GB so you can make use of dual-channel memory.

Just check whatever's on sale at your pc shop/website. I know a lot of people feel very strongly about which HDD's to use and which not to use but personally I've never had one fail on me and I've usually just gone with cheapest from brands that I actually recognize. So as long as they are just for normal use check their sales. We'll all be upgrading to ssd's in a few years anyways *crosses fingers and wishes upon a star*
