CS:GO VOIP Through Default comms device?

TDP_Equinox

So as the title says, i want CS:GO game sound through my default sound device, but player chatter (VOIP) to go through my default communications device.
A little googling yields nothing, and poking around in the settings finds nothing either.

Thanks

I honestly don't think this is possible, although I've never tried.

That seems odd. Would there be some competitive reason for this?

I don't think so, however there could be, I'm not sure.  It could just be the way the source engine handles audio.

There must be a competitive reason, because i can hear people through my default comm device in TF2.

Hmm.

Thanks
