Modding CM Storm Quickfire TK

Go to solution Solved by Scheer,

what would be the difference of plastidip to this? http://imgur.com/a/S97VM

Plastidip will start coming off pry a week after you paint it. Whether you want it to or not...

That guide looks great, it should be all of the information you need. Although, I do have to argue with him on Krylon. I've have extremely good luck with Krylon Fusion paints, it is in my opinion much more durable than Rustoleum. I painted one of my AR15s blue for my wife over a year ago and other than a few spots it has held on great, and the spots where it is missing is from damage, not just flaking off, as the gun actually gets used.

Hi, I really want the white version of this particular keyboard, however I cannot find who sells one. At any case, I am very open to modding my Black Blue backlit TK.

I just want to ask, what is the proper approach of doing this? What tools do I need? Its better to go into detail because this will be my first ever mod. Thanks

I own this one..

And I want it to turn into this. Never mind the blue led, but still it would be better if I can also make it white :)

You should be able to remove the outer frame, then either paint it or plastidip it.

As for the LEDs, you'll have to solder new ones on if you want white LEDs.
