I'm building a system with a Rosewill Throne Case (the version with the huge side fan) and I'm trying to figure out the best airflow design that would best cool the CPU, motherboard, and the inside of the case overall.  For cooling, I'm going to use an all-in-one 280mm water cooling system (H110) and the fans that come with the case.

Where should I mount the radiator? Should its fans pull cooler air in from outside the case or push air from inside the case to the outside?  I was thinking of mounting it on the top of the case (inside) and pulling cooler air into the case, but I'm worried about the motherboard getting too warm from the heat.  But as I thought about it, if the rear fan exhausts hot air out of the case and the large fan pushes enough cool air onto the motherboard, the extra heat from the radiator would be dissipated.  However, I doubt the rear fan would be enough to exhaust out all the heat, so I was thinking of making the front fans also exhaust out the warmer air.

The downside to this is that my video cards (2 x GTX 980 with reference design) would be right in the path of the side fan and may actually work to push even more hot air onto the motherboard.  Of course I could always try different setups and find out, but I would like to save myself some trouble.  If any of you have dealt with this before, I would like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!
