Planning on some PC Upgrades.

Hello, it goes as the title says. I'm planning to upgrade some current components in my build to newer, better ones. I have a budget of around $690. Does this look good? Any suggestions?

Change that horrid cooler.

Don't bother with that CPU cooler, a cliche but I honestly recommend the Hyper 212 Evo in most cases as it's cheap, reliable with good warranty and of course, COOL.

 

Add in some standard, 8GB RipJawz DDR3 1600Mhz RAM.

 

You might want to go with a CX500 just to avoid having to upgrade the PSU in the event of another 970 being added in the future. 

 

And you're golden.

I already have 12GB of RAM, but thanks for the suggestion.

 

Thanks for the tip on the 212 Evo, I'll check it out.
