Tbh temperatures wont be a problem on a 970 so its not really that important.

Power limit max, voltage max (+87 mV), +100 MHz core +400 MHz memory is where i would start

You shouldnt really be worried, overclocking a 970 is easy as hell. You cant really fry a 970 without a custom BIOS

Increase core and memory frequency and you generally don't want it to get to 90 degrees but 80-85 is fine
