hounted ssd

so i have this old ssd in my pc that i dont know the name of the only thing i know is that it is really old probobly one of the first affortable ssd's it was my brothers

 

now for the problem the first time i booted the pc the ssd didnt show up (my os is on a hdd) but i wanted to use my pc and such so i didnt look into it

now a few months later (the sdd never showed up at all) the ssd sudenly shows up and i can acces it but when i rebooted the ssd was one again gone.

now today i booted my pc and it wat there once again but i could not acces it when i clicked on it it didnt react.

and then the bar that says how full it is dissapears and i refresh the drive list and it was gone

 

i dont know is the ssd is just dead or if its not pluged in correct but im guessing it is just dead couse its really old its so old that it is 3,5 inch instead of 2,5

Is your drive there in Device Manager on Windows? - Presuming you're using Windows obviously.
