RAM compatible with mobo

Go to solution Solved by sgloux3470,

Well if it's for games like BF4, Gta 5, will I notice any difference?

Probably not, no.

The game engine will love you for it though.  But as an end user you probably won't notice anything different.

Hello all,

I now have 6GB of RAM. I want to upgrade to 8 or 10GB. I've found this:

https://www.alternate.nl/GeIL/4-GB-DDR3-1333-geheugen/html/product/994748?event=search

Is this compatible with my PC?

My mobo is model H57M01 from Acer.

I now have DDR3 memory, for further information check my picture.

Thanks

Ok, thanks!

Will there be a noticeable difference in performance when upgrading from 6 GB to 10 GB?

if you need more than 6gb of ram.

GPU and CPU will matter over RAM increase

also games in SSD will load faster

Well I curently have a i7 860 @ 2.80GHz, and I will be upgrading my GTX 550 TI to a GTX 960.

Do I really need a RAM upgrade?

6GB is enough for most games

if you can OC your i7

OC as much as possible to reduce the bottleneck when you get the GTX960

Something isn't quite right here. You've got a Tri Channel system and yet CPUz says 6GB Dual Channel, that's not possible.

Main Rig:-

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

Well I'm not a pro, and I haven't changed anything in my PC expect a new graphics card. So I have no idea what you're talking about now lol

6GB Dual Chan is not physically possible, RAM doesn't come in 3GB sticks.
