So I've run into a weird problem.

I'm using a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 and an FX 8370.

When I enable turbo core in my motherboard it lets me set the 0 state turbo, but not the 1 state turbo.  The 1 state turbo stays at the default 20.5x multiplier that is used by a stock 8350/8370.  This causes me to be locked at 4.1 GHz, even though my base clock is 4.8 GHz.  I can fix this by loading up AMD OverDrive and manually adjusting the turbo state, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how I could fix this through the BIOS?  My old motherboard had an option to set the turbo states separately, but this one does not seem to have it despite being a much higher end board.

I actually don't recommend using Turbo Core since it rarely ever works. OCing will give you better overall performance since it won't rely on single or dual thread tasks to "boost"(it will always be in a boost state regardless of threads, lol). If you actually want to fix it though I won't be much help since my experience with 990FX Asus boards is limited.

Why do you even want AMD TurboCore? It was causing some freezing issues with my 8320.

Mostly just experimenting.  The difference in voltage between 4.8 and 4.9/5.0 on my 8370 is HUGE, so I'm trying to use turbo to only ramp up the voltage and performance when I actually need it.  It will boost to the lower turbo state perfectly fine, it's just weird that I have to manually correct it since BIOS only sets the max turbo state (which afaik is never actually reached.)
