If yes, what else do I need? Some PSU designed for it? Any controllers to change color or...?

If not, could you recommend high quality PC led strips?

Hahaha, well this isn't per say designed for any PSU. It's 12V, so it will work with any, you'll just need to fashion it into a connector to plug with your PSU is all.

Cannot change the color, you'll need different colored LEDs for that.

Try Bitfenix Alchemy LED Strips, more expensive, but have the connector already, and pretty reasonable lengths for PCs

the led strips you showed are generally used for decorative lighting like under a hanging clouset. they work very well if you use them for what they're designed for: being plugged into 12V, and produce light. dont expect much else from them, but if thats what you need go ahead and buy some, just shove the wires in a spare molex (because those are still necessary these days...) and you're good to go.

sidenote: put them where you cant see them directly, they are ugly as hell.
