gpu waterblock!

Go to solution Solved by Spev,

its the evga 970 FTW card

Nope, they don't have one. However, they are releasing one "coming soon". I would know for a fact considering I had the GTX970 FTW. If you look up the exact part number it says "coming soon". I also talked with some people from EK who confirmed they were creating a water block for it. They told me estimated release date was "January", but it's not looking great right now, even if we do have a couple weeks left. Personally, I got really tired of waiting. I've been sitting with my custom loop parts for over a month waiting on a GPU block, & don't feel like draining to add it later. I ended up using the EVGA step up program, upped to the GTX980, and bought EK waterblock/backplate for that. I would just keep a look out soon, they told me January unless there is a delay, but no block currently exist for that card on the market today. Another option is the NXZT G10 bracket with an AIO, but that's not a GPU block, and wouldn't work with a custom loop. So if you already are planning a full custom loop that's not really an option for you but might be good for people just wanting to water cool their graphics card, and I'm pretty sure that thing fits on like 95% of GPUs.

Is there a waterblock on the market for the evga-970? If so, please let me know. Im thinking to watercooled my gpu but dunno if the block its avaible. I looking at the swiftech water cooling rad and stuff they have since i already have the h240-x. I wanna add a dual 120mm fans rad on the front. Can you guys tell me the parts i need to this gpu watercooled? Ty

The website is not loading for me right now. It's EK's website: www.coolingconfigurator.com just plug in your part number....04G-P4-2978-KR, that's for the GTX970 FTW (not FTW+). It will show you all available options for the card. You should see under full cover water blocks it's "coming soon" confirming they are making a water block for this card. Maybe the release date has gotten pushes back, or it will release in late Jan. I talked to an EK rep who told me it was coming in Jan., not sure if there is a delay or not.
