I usually have no issues with other games but with Battlefield 4, the second I start moving I get packetloss spikes up to 20 yet I did a pingtest and showed no packet loss?

This has confused me for so long and I have tried so many things.

P.S My ping is usually higher (than other games) even when I join a server with 20ms

P.S.S If I stand completely still I get no lag spikes at all.

HELP ME PLEASE

It really could be a problem with your internet or load on BF servers. Have you tried doing a CMD ping test on for example www.google.com and doing it for 100 packets?

I have had this problem for MONTHS and I don't know how long that is but I will check.

Edit: Not sure how to test for 100 packets.

Please do a couple of ping tests and check for packet loss, in common use packet loss is no big deal even though there shouldn't be any, but in gaming that can be a huge problem. :)

Sounds like you get no packets lost on the ookla test server, but you have trouble connecting to whatever bf4 server it is...

Tried around 10-20 different servers.

Already checked and I rarely get packet loss.

Looks like a connection issue with the bf4/ea servers.

Anyway to fix it? Even a temp fix as I paid for my favorite game on PC and I can't even play it </3

It could be a closed port or something like that unstable router/modem.

Tried changing some settings and reseting router 4 times.

Speedtest is an ideal scenario anyways. It's not really real world.

Verify the game files in origin.

Tried that an reinstalling.

Just played a full game with no packet losses. Either it randomly fixed or it's the servers.

Likely the servers.

I was having a few issues last night too, but nothing too bad.

In games I refuse to search anywhere but Europe if possible.
