Hi all

I just built my frist pc in awhile(like 5 or 6 years).

My set up is:

Mobo: asus z97-ar

CPU:   i5-4690k

Gpu:   Gigabyte 970 G1 gaming.

ram:   8gb single stick kingston hyper furry 1866

PSU:  corsair cx750m

cooler: corsair h75

Over clocking seems so easy but I have it at stock settings now

and performance seems so good.

Would over clocking be worth it?

I did do LINX stress test and it hit like 67c on cpu, Is that about right?

I know no 2 cpus over clock the same but what should the H75 & 4690k be able to achieve at what temperature?

I reckon you would do alright, those temps are pretty good

Overclocking is definitely worth it, It's basically bumping voltage along with the CPU core speed :P

In the applications you are currently running and wanting to run, do you see a need of a slight increase of performance?

if no -> then no need to overclock

if yes -> then overclock

Depending on the overclock, you may or may not see a significant difference in performance.
