Can't start a game

Hi!

 

I wanted to install gta iv for my new rig. I run win 8.1 and have sufficient system specs for it.

Anyways, I click the button, click plan on that rockstar club pop-up, a black window apperars for a split second, then disapperas and nothing happens. No errors, nothing.

 

What can I do? Thanks

Try running Steam in Admin mode. Also i think you need to make the launcher run as admin... And the game EXE too... Has to be set to Win 7 compatibility mode as well i think...

 

Its so broken, i don't remember how i got it to work.

I have the cd, not the stem download version. Also, where can I run those admin stuff etc? I'm lost in win 8 lol

Oh CD version... In that case, i never got it to work but you can still try. To make a EXE Run as admin right click > Properties > compatability > Run this program as admin
