Converting USB Mic to Analog

Go to solution Solved by areuz,

Only with a computer.

Well... that will be difficult maybe I will be able to figure something... I don't feel like buying a new mic.

Thanks for your help :)

I've been recently thinking of purchasing a mixer but I would also like to plug in my microphone.

Yeah, not the best mic ever, but I think it's pretty nice, the noise floor is surprisingly low, but It captures a lot of noise from the room.

So, as allways I searched on Google first, but the only thing that everybody talks about is converting a analog mic to USB. So is there a way, either passive or active of converting a USB mic connector into any kind of analog one?

Thanks in advance :)

Don't trust me in anything other than computers.

wait no just don't trust me

I know this is already answered but what is the use case for the setup?

Well, I just want my mic going through Mixer (linked above) because minimizing the game or setting up keybinds to mute and adjust volume that I will forget anyway in a software is not for me.

And It seems like I cant connect a USB mic to a mixer without another PC, or maybe the Mic going to my PC and exiting through another port, which would just add complications, noise, cabeling and latency.

But I'm already thinking about either this one or this microphone. There is a big difference in price, so I'm still thinking about those two.

Is this for commentaries/streaming?

Push-To-Talk is a wonderful thing.

Maybe in the future, I was doing YouTube videos a while back, but currently only for my small geek-audiophile needs :D Although I really do plan on doing something like that.

Also, I would really like to monitor my voice with my headphones so I'm hoping that I will be able to do that with a XLR mic, USB's latency is just too much.
