Wiping hard drive

Go to solution Solved by Archangel1994,

I know that, but I'd like something that would let me pick which hard drive to clear. Just for simplicity.

Ccleaner has a secure erase mode for up to 35 passes

I was curious what software you guys would suggest for completely clearing hard drives. It has been awhile since I've cleaned my computer and just want to do a fresh install of windows and what not. I know you can in the bios somewhere just curious if any software can do the same. :D

one of the best is dariks boot and nuke but it can take days (depending on drive size) but it makes anything on the drive a thing of the past, but make sure you dont have any other hdds plugged in whilst running this software (which cant be run through windows it needs to be booted into) also its free
