Headset replacement

DariusT

Hello, recently my HyperX Cloud stopped working and I started looking into possible replacements. My budged would be up to 250$. I'd like something as comfortable as HyperX but I'd prefer for mic quality to be better. At the moment I am looking into Sennheiser G4ME One, but still haven't mad up my mind.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Darius.

I can definitly recommend Sennheiser. I don't know a lot about audio, but Sennheiser is an awesome manufacturer.

I know that their microphones are usually top quality!

Any audiophile headphones + modmic 4.0

I know this is most likely the best option, but I keep leaning towards a headset for my gaming needs.

Not trying to sound rude, but what needs weren't a gaming headset over high-end cans + mic?

"Gaming" headsets are just marketing fluff. Audio quality tends to be worse on them, with the exception of the clouds. Gaming tuned audio is most likely just a bass boost for explosions in games. There are some gaming headsets that are great, but they have a horrible price to performance ratio.
