Using Native resolution for desktop is the only way I know.

So I finally set up OGSSAA for my monitor and it's great in games, but I'd also like to use it all the time in Windows, but text is kind of blurry, is there a fix for that?

Actually just try this either way.

Windows 8.1

Hit start, type "cleartype" and it should come up so you can configure it to display slightly better. That being said if you have one of the newer Nvidia cards, DSR in nvidia control panel's manage my 3d settings does the same thing as ogssaa but turns itself off while at the desktop.
