New build problems....

So I just build my first gaming computer yet, and I come from mac. So I build everything, works flawlessly in gaming. But I seem to be having a problem with my drives...

 

So I have an external drive that I used with my mac. I don't know if it formatted weird, or something but it just does not show up under, "computer". I have to go all the way to device management to even see it. Once there I tried the trick my friend that also built his computer about a year ago, said to assign a letter to that drive. All the options are just blanked out, sadly. I have no clue what to do, and I have very important material that I need on my windows, setup. Please help. Thank you guys very much.

Most likely a different format that Windows doesn't recognize.
