Hi guys,

The problem:

So pretty much overnight we lost our entire internet connection throughout the house.

Next day I'm trying to get everything back up and running, but for some reason none of the apple devices are making a connection to the wifi network.

"This'' laptop runnning windows is doing fine, but the imac, iphones and ipads can't seem to connect to the wifi.

They locate the wifi, so it is visible i connect to it, but then all i get is this exclemation mark on top of the wifi symbol and that is it.

What I've tried:

Rebooted everything ---- didnt work

Set everything back to factory settings ---- didnt work

Tried getting into the router setting via internet browser : http://192.168.1.2 ---- not working.

Hope to get some help on this problem.

Kind regards,

A tech friend in need:)

Are you sure that the factory reset that you did on the router worked? Are you connected to the router via an ethernet cable to access that IP address throuhg the browser, or are you trying to do it wirelessly?

My recommendation would be to upgrade the Firmware, however, you need to get to the configuration page on that IP address to do this.
