As far as I can tell they are pretty close to the same with slightly different ports. Does one outperform the rest?

asus and benq are the best. but since asus is cheapest get that. aoc has awful panel, acer has awful stand.

Yeah they're pretty much the same, it's likely they're all using the same display panel. The ASUS is usually the most recommended one here because apparently we like ASUS, but either that or the BenQ are the best choices in my opinion.

The BenQ has slightly better color.  They're all TN, but the BenQ and the Asus I have seen side by side - the BenQ seems like it's slightly.. just a tad bit better color.  That and the Asus I believe uses PWM for the led's, and the BenQ is flicker-free / non PWM, so the BenQ would likely be the best on eye-fatigue if you're sensitive to PWM like I am.

I have the Asus, it's really good, the only problem is that you need to spend some time changing the video settings
