Hard Drive make noise
Hello,
My Hard Drive start too make weird noise when it load texture for game or start program like steam but not when i'm play or just explore file.
It not my boot device and it already make a backup (no noise when backup)
So what happening?
That's normal hard drive noise. It's the read/write head moving across the platter. The snap noise you hear is the wall it hits to make sure it doesn't fly off the platter causing damage, all is well.
The reason why it stops making the noise when you're loaded in the game is because most of the data the game needs is already in memory.
