Adobe Lightroom Mobile for Android

Lightroom mobile is finally out on android. I have been waiting for so long.
You now have all of the features of lightroom mobile that has long been an IOS exclusive, on any android device. Tablets may still be hit or miss. 

 

Lightroom mobile will work on Android phones running Jelly Bean, KitKat, or Lollipop. It isn't optimized for tablets yet, but Adobe says that's on the roadmap. 

Tablets coming soon, at least it is a start.

 

 

Like on the iPhone, all of Lightroom's basic editing tools are here, so you can work with exposure, highlights, shadows, composure, and so on, but you can't dive into anything so complicated as tone curves.

Great, with wifi cameras like the Canon 6d and 70D you can edit photos almost anywhere.

 

 

Lightroom mobile utilizes Smart Previews to provide raw editing functionality on the go.  Smart Previews are:

 

• Based on the DNG file format
• Limited to 2560 pixels on the long edge
• Smaller versions original raw files
• Can be used to make adjustments even when the original files aren’t available locally
• Adjustments made to Smart Previews are applied to the original when the original files are available

 

While not all of the functionality on the desktop software, it is good enough for a lot of things.

This is awesome. I've been waiting for this announcement since PS appeared on the iPad years ago. This + DSLR Controller are going to be a killer combo.
