So i put together my computer and to my luck it didnt turn on and when it did the front of the case blinked red for lets say half a second and the the stock cpu cooler in side moved a inch or so. So tonight i was thinking about testing to see if it was really the power supply and not the motherboard. I just want to know what should i do to test it ? And i know i should have done it before i put uit together but im a first time builder and a idiot lol.

What else is there to say i am to n00b to understand computers so yea...

then test the power supply with them all unplugged

and then just hook up the 8 Pin Cpu Power and the 24 pin power

also remove your graphics card, and make sure your Ram is seated properly

after that's done power it up and tell me the out come.

What was it?

power supply i had to take everything out and instead of using a paper clip to test it it had already came with something to do that. Guess i had to give it a jump for it to work good. idk all i know is that everything is working the fans are going and im getting all the stuff i need for my new computer.
