When I boot up, I always boot into a menu that says WIndows 8.1 on volume 2
and the same thing under it(both are selectable BTW) so my question is how do i get it to boot up into that specific version that I select?
(through the bios ofc)

I just felt like I needed somthing here

Hit Start

Right click This PC go Properties

Select Advanced System Settings

Under the Advanced Tab and under the Startup and Recovery sub menu click Settings

Select your desired OS from the list, uncheck 'Time to display list of operating systems'

Try right clicking on My Computer (or is it "This PC"), and then properties (or just press Win+Pause/Break)

Then go to advanced system settings -> Advanced ->Startup and Recovery, Settings

Here select the one you want from the drop down and then either uncheck the box for time to display, or set a lower time limit.

When in doubt, re-format.
